Brosnan Dental

I have been going to Brosnan dental for a few years now. Recently back in July I had a composite bonding repair done to my front tooth as the bottom of the tooth was broken. Dr. Drayton Smith did the repair quite POORLY as per the new dentist I went to see to have his repair corrected the right way. He did not use any magnifying lenses to see the tooth up close! Which, logically I believe is necessary. There was a build up of “flash” on the surface of my tooth that left a jagged edge. They charged me $300+ for this repair and did not even try to submit to my insurance nor did they instruct me that I could submit it myself to insurance. I was referred by a coworker who said Dr. Brosnan was great and had affordable prices. When I get there, I tell him I'm nervous and he told me to "suck it up." When I told him I was looking for a second opinion and a price quote to fix my teeth, he told me he couldn't tell me, that I'd have to pay $250 today for an evaluation, which insurance may or may not cover. When I asked if there was a way I could reach out to my insurance and ask how much they would cover, he told me to let him know when I was "ready to pony up the dough to fix my teeth." The exam lasted less than five minutes and was mostly him being demeaning and belittling me. His receptionist was lovely, however.

This was my first time at Brosnan Dental, and I will definitely be recommending them to my friends + family. Donna at the front desk was very friendly and incredibly helpful. Dr. Smith took the time to listen to all of my concerns and provided knowledgeable input. Overall, I felt really well taken care of and can easily say this was my best experience at the dentist.

I have always struggled with feeling comfortable at the dentist - so much so, that I put off going for years. I am so pleased that I got connected with Dr. Timothy Brosnan and his dental practice. I was completely satisfied with both visits; the service is incredible and I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a positive dental experience!

My family and I have been longstanding patients at Brosnan Dental, but our recent experience with Dr. Timothy Brosnan was highly disappointing. During our visit, he treated my children and me with a surprising lack of empathy and respect. In particular, he reprimanded my nine-year-old daughter for her reaction to a needle, telling her to come back when she "grows up." His demeanor, tone, and level of aggressiveness were completely inappropriate, especially considering the presence of two young children.
