In the beginning all went well with staff and I was satisfied(I thought ) with their work. I was told I needed x-rays that revealed that I needed one tooth pulled and another root canal with a full set of crowns across the front. They charged me a lot of money but told me that my insurance would pay for the rest. However a year afterwards, i got a bill from them for the amount that they said the insurance would pay. it took me a while with many threatening letters, but I paid it. Now in the fourth year i went back to them to check out the crowns because it felt like it was loose and kept clicking with my bottom tooth. After xrays they told me that the tooth that they did a root canal on had decayed completed and now no longer connected to the crown. Al;so revealed was the fact t hat I nee
I think there is room for improvement when it comes to customer service, especially when communicating with new patients. I was told that because my insurance information was provided “last minute,” someone would need to call me back to see if my appointment could still be kept. This felt unnecessary and uncomfortable, as I was simply returning a phone call that was left for me at 9:00 a.m. (during the hours I am at work) asking me to complete my paperwork before the appointment, which I did promptly. I provided my insurance information as soon as I received my card, about five hours before my appointment. The interaction left me feeling unwelcome as a new patient, and unfortunately, it made me reconsider continuing care here. I hope the office can create a more supportive and understandin
Front Office was very disorganized and wanted me to fill out intake forms on MY phone, but then they kept printing paperwork for consents for treatment and estimates with insurance adjustments. They said they'd call me back to get us on the schedule and they did not. However, the experience was completely stressful. The Xray tech and the Dentist were super nice and cheerful during a stressful first visit for my elderly disabled mom. Very pleased with the back office staff, they made our concerns feel heard. The front office was just scrambling and getting patients frustrated by giving random quotes that varied in prices from one minute to the next. I had an appt 2 hours after I called! X-ray technology great! Also individual enlarged pictures of areas with “ issue” to see and discuss. DrMarcel McDaniel is easy to talk with, understanding, and knowledgeable. Staff very friendly. This was my first visit and I have an appt in 3 days to begin work on my issues. My first impression was very good!
It was my first time, they just checked me and took xrays. Every person that I dealt with was professional, courteous, and nice. Doctor McDonald, xray tech, receptionist, all excellent. The price for the first visit was very reasonable. The only thing I have to say, is that the estimate they gave me for all my dental issues was ridiculously expensive, even the small details. But, I don't have insurance, take that in consideration.
