Bridge 9 Barbershop is bright enough to catch your eyes as you drive by and it is well worth the stop. I will say you should make an appointment as they don’t take walk-ins. I was lucky enough to catch a canceled appointment on my visit, but as busy as they were I don’t think this is common. I do not live locally, but I will make sure to have an appointment when I head this way again. This was hands-down the best haircut I have ever had. John listened to what I had to say and then worked his magic. There was a lot of scissor work and a finish with a straight razor to keep the edges neat.John really took his time and treated me like a regular. It is difficult to find someone who takes this much pride in their craft anymore, y’all are lucky to have a barbershop like this in town.

I really wanted to love Bridge 9 after a great first experience with Meg, but my second visit with Eddie was incredibly upsetting. The appointment was physically painful; he was so aggressive with the clippers that my skin was left scratched and irritated. Throughout the cut, he seemed lost, hesitantly snipping away while whispering to another barber for guidance. It’s a terrible feeling to realize you’re being treated like a 'practice project' while paying full price. When I pointed out that my hair was visibly uneven, he did spend a lot of time trying to fix it. However, he simply couldn't get it right, eventually dismissing the issue with a bizarre excuse about my hair growth patterns. I ended up going home to fix a noticeable 0.25-inch difference myself. Look no farther then Bridge 9 if you’re looking for a haircut that will be perfection every time. I’ve been going to John for 7 years now and I have never been disappointed with a haircut. The staff Luke & Albion are amazing too, the environment is like no other barber shop. Their online booking system makes it convenient for me to plan my haircuts around my busy schedule & it’s been very user friendly. I can’t say enough good things about this place, after the first cut you will understand why the customers are so loyal!
