I love my experience and the way our hair came out. I was greeted when I walked in and asked what service I booked, the found my booking and had me take a seat. There was a short wait (10-20 mins) before they moved me to a booth and started. Both ladies who worked on my hair were AMAZING! My braids are neat and the same size all around. I was done in 5.5 hrs!! I brought my daughter in the next day for knotless. It was her first time getting her hair braided at a shop and she did well. Her hair turned out beautiful. People compliment us everywhere we go! Thank you to Mama and her wonderful staff!

I would not recommend this braid gallery to anyone. Before booking, I sent photos of exactly how I wanted my hair done (Bora Bora braids) and asked multiple times — both verbally and through text — if they could do this style. They repeatedly reassured me through text that they could. However, when I arrived, the experience completely changed. First, the pricing was different. I was quoted $320 via text, but once I got there, I was told, “no, no, no that’s too cheap,” and the price was suddenly increased to $350. That was never the agreed price. I specifically asked for medium braids, and what I received were medium-to-large braids — almost too big. Braids City was recommended to me by a close friend who had a great experience with them. She shared the customer service was great; she was given snacks and a blanket to be comfortable. My experience… NOT that. I scheduled a same-day appointment Wednesday 02/18. I arrived early, walked in, no one greeted me they just stared at me. I said hello to break the ice. A woman asked if she can help me. I told her the time of the appointment then she asked the service. I shared. They were completely unaware. I was offered a chair then a woman started prepping my hair. The kindest person was the elder who braided the front. UPDATE: Owner reached out and was very apologetic for what happened to me and offered a 50% refund for the services. I appreciate the compassion and customer service. ————- ORIGINAL REVIEW: Told them at my appointment that my hair was fine and to leave my edges out. I was told my edges were too long so I said to make those sections bigger and not too tight. They didn’t listen and now 2.5 weeks later I’m pulling clumps of my hair out and with bald spots all around the front of my hair. Fast and cheap is not always better ladies now I’ll be spending the rest of the year trying to grow my hair back

I love my hair just wanted to give a shout out to mama Bree city in Garland mama the owner is amazing super detailed oriented and clearly knows her stuff. She did my hair herself her staff did my wife and my daughter I will definitely be returning you guys are the best I’ve been to so many breathing shops. I see how you talk to your client.
