BraidEnvy

So I didn’t read the reviews before hand, I found BraidEnvy via IG because my usual braider follows them. I wanted a last minute style so I made an appointment and hoped for the best. The deposit is pretty hefty compared to others I’ve paid, but I’ll take that as a sign of the times and the people who’ve ruined it for the rest lol My appointment was at 3:00. The first issue and unfortunately, I expect it to happen when it comes to braiders/stylist but my appointment was pushed back. I got in the seat around 4:00/4:10. I was coming from Suffolk Long Island, so getting there was going to be a trip regardless between traffic and just overall distance. I will say stylist did give me a heads up, apx an hour in advance of the delay. However, because of where I lived, I was screwed regardless. l

Love this place and the talented stylist. They are always welcoming and accommodating. They can all slay the hair...pure art. I get compliments for weeks after they bless. Highly recommend!!!

Shakira was very nice and welcoming, service was good and it didn’t take too long to complete the desired style. Definitely would say on the pricey side for 6 stitch Briads with 1 heart $178 was a bit expensive. And I had to purchase my own braiding hair and hair for 2 boho curls. But all in all service was great and I would definitely go back.

My experience at Braided envy was refreshing, As a stay at home mom I rarely get to treat myself. So coming to a clean environment with a lovely ambience and some background music to Complement it was just everything. My stylist Shavon Was on time, offered me water and made me feel at home. It was truly a refreshing experience to see two women working so hard doing what they love and all with professionalism. ❤️ I will be back for sure also I love the precautions that were taken for COVID-19 hands must be washed after you enter the shop as well as your temperature taken

I been coming here for awhile now and I guess Amourjah felt some type of way about a previous incident denied me service and refunded me my money when I arrived to my appointment. I love amourjah very talented when it comes to braiding but she really violated and how she handled the situation was very unprofessional. I have an event to go to this weekend can’t even find another braider smh, this lady does not respect peoples time at all. Mind you I been waiting 3 weeks to get my hair braided drove all the way from Jersey just for me to get to my appointment and this lady made a whole scene in front of her employees and other clients called the cops!! mind you I always come thru show nothing but love and respect & I always tip then she’s Haitian on top of that which threw me all the way of
