I was actually looking for a good braider when I kept noticing people in public with really clean, professional braids. On three different occasions I asked where they got their hair done, and every single person said Braid Therapy. At that point I figured that was confirmation enough and decided to give them a call. I ended up bringing both my wife and my daughter in, and the experience was great from start to finish. The braids came out extremely neat, well-done, and exactly what they wanted. You can tell a lot of care and skill goes into the work. We had an amazing experience at Braid Therapy with Eboni. Everything from start to finish felt comfortable, personal, and just easy. One thing I really appreciated was the private studio setup. It was just us, no crowded shop, no extra noise or people coming in and out. That made a big difference, especially with kids. We were able to sit back, relax, watch Netflix, eat our snacks, and just enjoy the time instead of feeling rushed or overwhelmed. We’re a mixed family, so we have a wide range of hair textures from thick kinky hair to fine hair to curly hair. Eboni handled all of it with no problem at all. Absolutely WONDERFUL from start to finish! I called short notice needing an appointment for my daughter to have her hair braided with colored hair tinsel for her senior track meet. Ms. Eboni was so accommodating and squeezed us into her busy schedule. As you can see from the pictures my daughter’s braided hairstyle exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Ms. Eboni!! This business is displaying seriously unprofessional conduct. The public statements being made are false, misleading, and irresponsible. Payment was not refused. The stylist was taken into custody during the appointment — witnessed directly — and because she was arrested and booked at that time, payment could not be completed before being instructed to leave. Accusations that I “walked out” or stole are not based in fact. I have screenshots of the prior review comments she posted, and they clearly show the misrepresentations being made. I called in last minute, asking to get my hair done. She said she had availability at 8 pm the same day. I couldn't believe how nice she was and was willing to take me in on a Sunday, when most places were closed (holiday too). Not only my appointment was on time, but she was extremely professional, followed the picture of the style exactly the way I wanted it, complimented the product I brought with me and was overall a blast to be around. When my hair was done, the braids didn't feel tight at all, and they looked gorgeous. I couldn't stop getting compliments about my hair at work and outside.
