Braid Bar South

I have been struggling with finding a good stylist that specializes in childrens hair for over a year. My daughter is extremely tender headed, and it doesn't help that she has waist length hair, at 5 yrs old. Other stylist would literally have my daughter screaming and crying at the top of her lungs, we have even had to leave the hair salon with her hair only washed and shamppoed, without a hairstyle. Other stylist quality of work was so poor, that after her hair was done, it would start to look puffy after a day. The Braid Bar is in a league of there own. My coworker told me about Braid Bar. Do not bring your child to Braid Bar on Columbia Drive, or any Braid Bar! This was the worst braiding experience my daughter has ever had. The stylist repeatedly left the salon to go outside and handle personal business, which was completely unprofessional. The braiding quality was poor, rushed, and careless, and management did nothing to correct it. Heads up: they will try to add an extra $40–$45 for a wash and blow-dry, even if the hair has already been washed and prepared. My daughter left in tears. This is not exaggeration these are facts. My hairstyle was two stitch braids to back with curly pieces coming out when I got there around 450 the place closes at 7 so I came in sighned up told them my style they said it was $65 mind you it was $25 dollar tuesdayfor I think any style but anyways the worker told me to sit down I waited into 5:58 everybody was just skipping passing me, moving ahead of me. Next its 5:58pm finally getting to go to one of the workers she sits me down she seems to be a nice person so then she proceeded to say it will ne a extra $20 because my hair was not blow dried enough. So I did blow dry my hair around 3:45 before going to shop and I also I had been waiting for a long time so yes my hair is thick so its gonna be damped and not so blow dried so now it was $85. I want to start with the positives. The shop is very clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing. The floors were swept and mopped, and all stations appeared neat and well maintained. Pricing was consistent with what you would expect for braiding services in Atlanta, and I was able to walk in and begin my service immediately, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the customer service is the reason I will not be returning. The stylist who braided my hair behaved in an extremely unprofessional manner throughout the appointment. She was on the phone for most of the service, which in itself was not the issue, but the content of her conversations was highly inappropriate and vulgar. $25 dollar Tuesdays for the two feed-in braids are not $25 dollars. First off, when you call dm or try to reply in the comments, you get no response! I finally got a response the day of getting my nieces hair done priortome calling more than once a day before. I asked them if the hair came with it, and they proceeded to tell me details were in the caption, which they were. However, I asked how many packs of hair do I need no response. When I get to the shop, I am told because of the length of hair I brought, it would be $40 dollars extra! And if we would have used their hair, it would have been ONLY $5 DOLLARS EXTRA. When I tried to call dm or comment, there was no response, and then the one response I got, no one stated that they sold hair at the shop so how I was I supposed to know? I th
