I’m honestly still in disbelief about how unprofessional this salon is. I scheduled an appointment for knotless braids weeks in advance and paid a $35 deposit to secure my spot. Everything seemed fine — until a few days before my appointment when I suddenly got a text from someone claiming to be the “scheduler” asking if I could change my appointment day because the stylist might not show up. Excuse me? How does a salon not even know if their own stylist will show up? That should have been my first red flag. I told them that I couldn’t change the day because I had already planned my entire schedule around the appointment. I booked early for a reason! When I asked for my deposit back since the cancellation was clearly on their end, they refused — saying it’s “nonrefundable.” So apparently,
