Boro Barber Academy

We took my oldest to get his hair cut there. My son's hair needed to be cut. I am really upset because I feel like the barber who cut his hair a Latin woman used my son as punishment. His hair doesn't look like a professional or even a student cut it. Just someone who hated my kid. I feel like our trust was violated. If you have a child with longer hair do not take them here. He is neck is really red and it looks like they cut his neck with the razor.

The students did fantastic on my boys haircuts! I can’t recommend this place enough!! Today was our first visit and we will for sure be back!

We had a great experience here! I took my two boys and the barbers-in-training did a fabulous job. ***My only caveat- they do not take cards!*** Cash or check only. *** I didn’t know that until we walked in. I didn’t have cash and only luckily had some checks (who uses them anymore??) I didn’t see this tip on anything I read beforehand. So know before you go! These are students so it takes a bit longer. But that’s a good thing as they want to get a good grade! The boss comes by to check everything before you are done. I read reviews about them not being friendly. One of my kids barbers was, one wasn’t as much. It annoyed me that he had an earbud in his ear. Being from an older generation, I find that incredibly rude, but a) I’m not his boss and b) unfortunately that’s how things are thes

Not a good place to go if you are in a hurry, some of the students are slow- understandable as they are learning and don't want to mess up. I have been quite happy with every cut I have had here. Some are better, but none are bad. Regular cut is now $6.00

I've been getting my hair cut here for 25 yrs..nearly as long as they've been open, except one yr when their pipes froze, thawed, and the place flooded...went elsewhere until they were able to reopen.....overall, the students work carefully and do a good job...always checked by an instructor....never had any complaints
