Boqueria Colony Square

This is great news place with amazing atmosphere and delicious food. The cheeses were delicious and ham was top notch. Meatballs came out good as well. Delicious drinks - nice touch on gin and tonic with cherry. White Negroni also was great. Bartenders were so quick and efficient- even on a busy night! Can’t ask for better!

The food was excellent. The atmosphere was perfect. The only complaint but not really a complaint, they were slow getting the octopus out. I personally think the waiter forgot to order it but didn't want to admit it. However, the overall experience was great!

Food: We enjoyed the current tapa special (pictured), and another chorizo-based tapa, but weren’t entirely impressed by the Marisco Paella. It was good, don’t get me wrong, and definitely shareable. But for $42 we expected it to be outstanding. The drinks were fantastic— the red wine sangria was the favorite of the evening alongside the tapa special. Service: Our server was very kind. Some points to note: the food came out all at once— it crowded our already small table. It was also difficult to find the server at times and they didn’t really check in to allow us to order more drinks, though not their fault at all, we understand that they were very busy. Hey Foodies, So let's tell you about our most recent #foodiefriday at @boqueria at Colony Square in Midtown. It was absolutely amazing!! So let's start with the fact that the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and the customer service of the restaurant is 5⭐️. Look at our view facing Peachtree St, it was amazing. We did The Boqueria Experience which is basically the restaurants A1 chef tasting menu. They bring out several tapas (you can help choose some) chosen by the chef. It is the experience I suggest for any serious foodie ready to try something new. Here is what we had: Jamón Iberico de Bellota ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Hand carved acorn fed Iberico ham aged 48onths and cut in house. The ham of the Gods!! This was absolutely amazing!! An amazing restaurant that’s headed for a downfall unless hopefully they get their things together. Went for brunch, after having dinned here before several times, and was expecting similar experience but it was horrible. Our amazing server was also the bartender and was running around to fulfill drinks order causing a significant delay in our service. When we did finally after 20-30 mins asked for another server and placed an order for an appetizer, the food arrived was not hot and tasted as if sitting outside for a while. Either the management has changed causing this downfall of service or they are significantly short staffed. Either way, it’s sad to see a good restaurant in midtown loosing its appeal.
