I have been a loyal Aveda supporter for many years in different towns and states over the years. The Treasure Valley is fortunate that there are a number of Aveda salons to choose from. However when a cancellation at my usual Aveda salon set me in a search of a new appointment elsewhere I hoped to find a great alternative…little did I know what I was in for in a little house off State Street in Becca’s chair. A welcoming smile, an amazing I mean an amazing salon (with history and authentic style) and a fantabulous stylist…Becca. I didn’t just receive a thorough consultation it was a sincere and fun experience. By the end of my service (which started and ended right in time) I was asking if I could come back and Becca thankfully said yes. I was thrilled with my cut and color! I left

I’ve been going here for over ten years. Barb is the only person I will let touch my hair. She listens to what you want and also teaches you how to care for your hair. It is also super easy to book an appointment online. 10 out of 10 recommend.

I can’t say enough how happy I was with this place.Becca was absolutely amazing and made my step daughter so comfortable for her first salon dye. We will definitely be going back to see her.

We went in for my daughter's haircut, she had long hair and wanted a short wolf cut with a bit of bangs, and it took Barb less than 30 mins with styling. The styling was just blow-drying the hair (without any heat protection). She repeatedly pulled my daughter's hair and earing during the cut. She didn't blend in the layers nor did she check for the layers to have the same length. It was truly a disappointment, and it felt like she didn't want to work with us and just did whatever fastest cut she could. ****** Update***** Thank you Danielle for reaching out and turn our experience around. I asked for a wolf cut with a v-cut and curtain bangs. I also wanted it short but long enough to put in a ponytail. Throughout the cut I realized i dont see that much of my layers like i dont know how to explain it and my bangs they weren't blended into my wolfcut until i asked her to fix it and it still looks chopped. I dont like my layers and my hair was still pretty long not what i hoped for. I want to include why i got this cut its because i have thick hair and I wanted a wolfcut because it would give me layers and make my hair less thick and easy to work with. Idk I just dont like it came out and it was 60 dollars i didn't get a washed bcs my hair was already wet which i get.
