After countless visits to many haircutting places and tears and anger from my two teenagers...we finally found our spot.. definitely come in. Men, women, everyone! This place is amazing and every college student has a supervisor that helps every step of the way...the products they sell are inexpensive and high quality too. Thanks so much

I love this place! I’ve been coming here for nearly two years on and off to get my hair cut, colored, highlights, really anything. I’ve never left with hair that I was unhappy with! The price is amazing, and the students are always so friendly and welcoming. I have never felt worried about getting my hair messed up here like I have at other haircut chains, because the students actually care about how it turns out and the instructors are always walking around supervising. I’ve also had a few friends go here and they’ve only ever said good things. Thank you, Boise Barber College!

Came here at the recommendation of a friend. The atmosphere was warm and professional, and the service thoughtful and well done. Being students and there being a routine of checking in at key points in the process, it's not going to be the fastest for the services you recieve but it will be attentive. The clearer you can be about what would like done or not done and being able to communicate that will likely help all involved in the process, but once there you can slow down at bit and enjoy. Be specific, ask questions, and chat if you're up for it! Everyone I talked to there was kind and clearly invested in both their students and the work they are doing. Disappointed with Last-Minute Appointment Cancellation and Lack of Accountability I scheduled an appointment for a simple clipper cut, calling at 9:30 AM and receiving confirmation just 15 minutes later. I also received a reminder text at 2:59 PM, only to receive a call at 3:13 PM—47 minutes before my appointment—informing me that they could no longer accommodate me. The call wasn’t to offer a solution or an apology, but rather to shift the blame onto the student. I was told that a professional could easily handle the clipper cut in a short time, but for the student, it would take about 1.5 hours. I understand that students are still learning, but I was left wondering why, if the situation was a scheduling error, the professional couldn’t step in and handle the cut themselves. It would h

If you can get in, it's a great experience. However, the online appointments cost extra, they regularly cancel confirmed appointments (often at the last minute,) they're closed on weekends, and don't take appointments less than 90 minutes before they close so the availability makes it extremely difficult for anyone going to school or with a day job to utilize their services. TLDR, too difficult to get an appointment to make it worth it.
