Bogie's Barber shop

Alrighty, where to begin…first, whoever says Larry is 5 stars is skewing the picture and whoever says 1 star is also skewing the picture. Why is 1 star an exaggerated rating? Well, Larry charges $13 bucks a pop in 2023, and that’s like next level unbeatable. The next closest cut within a mile (and there are like 7) is $35. I don’t know about you, but I bet at least 50% of guys don’t really give a hoot about the cut and just don’t want to feel robbed at the end. There’s definitely a place for a shop like Bogie’s in the community. Why is 5 stars an overstatement? Even though the cut is bonkers cheap, a bunch of people definitely wait crazy long for their appointments (my first time there were people sitting there waiting for like an hour fifteen who had reserved time). First, the website says he opens at 9 AM on Saturday. So, I called the number and got no answer after 9 AM. I called several more times and still no answer. He returned my call at 10:30. He said it to come in at 11:15. I did and waited while the previous person was finished with their haircut. Then, somebody else that was waiting in a chair got serviced during my appointment time. The haircut was not good. He’s not professional, and the trimming around my ear is not even. Needless to say, I won’t be going there again. When I asked him about the website time, he said oh I work a lot and don’t come in till about 1030 now. I would recommend that he update his website to say such. Thank God hair grows fairly quickly, and I guess I can just wear a baseball cap for the next 30 days

My son went in looking like a mop head. And he came out looking sharp! Zach shared that the barber (who I assume is the illustrious Bogey?) chatted with him, checked in with him to be sure the cut was correct, offered to trim his facial hair, and styled his hair...and charged $13! Bogie's is one of the best kept secrets in midtown, I think. He's got a new customer or three, because my husband and younger son were equally impressed. Thanks, Bogey!

Showed up at 10:50. My appointment was for 11am. At 11:20 he takes a customer(no appt) after he was done with the other customer who had my 11am spot. Asked Larry,"I'm your 11am should I just wait longer?" guess the answer was yes because next he says "GET OUT, YOUR HARASSING THE CUSTOMERS".Not even close.With these difficult times I can't believe people treat customers like this.
