Kimberly is hands down heaven-sent. I could cry while writing this review. I was abroad for a year and a half and managed to find a wonderful stylist who helped my hair grow. She also introduced me to keratin treatments that were free of formaldehyde. Upon my return in April, I took my time before finding another stylist, as I was afraid of damaging the growth. I decided to give another salon owner a try and got a keratin treatment. The stylist (not from Body & Soul) was very kind and friendly, but unfortunately used a keratin treatment with formaldehyde that was too harsh for my hair. After that experience, I lost my curl pattern, and my hair remained straight even after washing. This discouraged me greatly, so I decided to give salons a break. Fast forward a few months later, I felt my

I had the worst experience. I asked for 2 braids and it was not pretty at all. I am so disappointed because i had high expectations from this place then for the staff to complement me once my hair was done was even more horrible and offensive. They added 2 totally different colored hair that did not match at all. I was looking like my great auntie. They were polite but the service was horrible 😒 😤.

Thank you Mrs. Kim. For your kindness, time and most importantly your quickly scheduled accepting my son to get his hair twisted so quickly . He is very grateful, happy ,excited and very thankful for His new look. The store is kept very clean ,Nice warm environment ,with lovely music and free Snacks. Which my son had enjoy very much. Dee is the only hairstylist I trust! She is incredibly talented and will always do you right. She listened to what I wanted and also told me what my hair needed- my hair has never looked better! She is very kind hearted and will take full care of you. Very grateful I found her!

I'm a 4C girlie and took my time to research which Black hair care salon I wanted to visit in Brooklyn. So glad I chose Body & Soul Hair Salon! Kim squeezed me in last minute due to me needing my hair done for my graduation. I was so appreciative! Kim provided me hair care and maintenance tips and provided my hair TLC! I got a wash, deep conditioner, blow dry, silk press and trim. My hair is flowing and healthier now! And my silk press is still going strong after a week and 2 days! I would definitely recommend this salon and Kim for their hair care! I can't wait to get my hair dyed next 😊.
