From my own experience, I tried anti-inflammatory meds and muscle relaxants for a chronic neck issue which was not helpful after several months. I did my own practice of yoga and acupuncture which provided some relief but not complete resolution as well. I sought Kim's expertise, and she was able to determine the issue with my neck pain after a thorough assessment. She also noted issues in other areas that could be also contributing to my problem. We also discussed other modalities like stretches and use of better neck support. She worked carefully but thoroughly to release the issues contributing to my neck pain. I am very active and compete in a lot of local marathons and triathlon races, so I frequently require massages to stay in top condition and to prevent injury. In my 8+ years of training I have not found another massage therapist more knowledgeable or experienced as Kim. Her massages are excellent and are tailored to exactly what I need at the time. Kim is professional, kind and welcoming to her business. She is extremely attentive to her clients and I definitely appreciate that when caring for my body month to month. To be a good massage therapist you need empathy toward people's aches and pains as well as diagnostic skill to be effective and Kim certainly has both.
