My first wax nearly 5 or 6 years ago was with Chemaine at her previous location and I went to her because of Groupon. I have been a loyal customer ever since! She is warm, personable, and knowledgeable. I have only had positive experiences with her and highly recommend her services to others looking for high quality wax experience.

It’s unfortunate because I’ve been going to Chemaine W. for years, but it seems things have come to an end. Here’s some backstory: I had an appointment scheduled for 10:30 AM. While I was in transit, I texted her to let her know I would be there at 10:43. She responded saying there was a 10-minute grace period, which I understand. She also mentioned in that text that she had another appointment scheduled for 10:50 AM, and if I wasn’t there by 10:40 AM, she would not be able to do my service. However, since I have been serviced by her the Brazilian wax I usually receive, typically takes more than 10, even 20 minutes. I still managed to arrive at 10:40AM (told her I was outside) and while standing outside her door, I asked via phone if she would still be able to take me given her 20-minute

Hunter & Chelsea are amazing Customer service agents! Felt very at ease and easily bult rapport with them. This spot is wonderful because of the great staff!

My appointment was literally at 10:20 this morning. I arrived five minutes early, tried to open the door and it is locked, but the lights are on. I stood outside for over 10 minutes, trying to call and was also knocking on the door, but to no avail. My calls kept going straight to voice mail, and no one came to open the door. I can see through the window, and there’s not even a receptionist in the front. Although I pride myself on supporting Black businesses, I most certainly will not support this one moving forward. I was really looking forward to my appointment, but as a first time customer, this leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I will not be back.

My waxing service today was great. Today was also my 1st time experiencing hard wax, and I must say it was not as painful as I anticipated it would be. Chemaine was prompt, professional, and super gentle. The location was easy to locate, clean, and secure. She was thorough and left no hair behind ! I will be back !
