I am writing to formally report a very disappointing and unprofessional experience I had at your barber shop during my most recent walk-in visit. This was my second visit to your establishment. During my first visit, my hair was cut by a particular barber without any indication that there were concerns or discomfort with providing the service. However, during my second visit—approximately four months later—I was informed that this same barber was unwilling to service me due to “history” and personal discomfort, despite having previously cut my hair. When I asked why I was assisted during my first visit if there was an issue in the first place, the manager on duty was unable to provide an explanation. Gary hooked it up. Last minute walk in, an hour before close- got him by luck of the draw and feeling blessed! He took his time giving me the most beautiful skin fade, taper, cut in part. He did an immaculate job on the top, gave me enough to have some options and he actually customized it to suit my unique bone structure. I went in looking like George Washington and he had me leaving knowing I found my new barber! All the practicality of a military cut but customized to allow me to retain my femininity. He took extra time to clean up around my ears so it's a good reason to come back soon. Let me share with you my recent experience at Bob's with Barber Gary! He did a beard trim (makes me look scholarly, which I am not), a simple haircut and trimmed my eyebrows. Gary did a excellent job and my girlfriend loves his work. I am interested in transitioning to a straight razor for shaving and Gary patiently answered my many questions while educating me on technique. Seems simple enough... Gary is a excellent top barber and I am looking forward to my next visit.

I like the way my beard itself turned out but this is the second barber in a row (from 2 different Barbershops) that hacked my neck with clippers. How does this happen with a professional? The last one took more than a week to fully heal and I expect around the same for this one. And for the barbers there, I'm the guy that was 6'8" who said "the world isn't made for tall people."

I am brand new to the area and after reading reviews I decided to give this place a try. I always wait a few days after getting my hair cut to see how my hair lays and I will say this is the absolute worst hair cut I have ever had. I have a huge chunk of hair cut much shorter than the rest the barber over thinned my hair making it look like I have bald spots now 2 very noticeable bald spots at that. I showed the barber the hair cut I had and he said no problem I can do that. 25.00 for a botch job the guy needs to go back to school and learn how to cut hair. Will not be going back even to get it corrected from another person. My friend who came with me got his hair cut as well. His barber spent more time talking than being focused on the hair cut. Neither one of us will go back.
