I randomly walked past the Westfield, NJ store this weekend. The display of products was very inviting causing me to stop in as a first time customer. I have been in the market for a new moisturizer for some time now, but kept putting it off due to being overwhelmed with so many options. Debra pleasantly greeted me and asked if I needed help. After listening to my needs, she took the time to show me a few recommendations until we found the perfect product. Thank you Debra!

Terrible experience today (12/28/25) at Bluemercury Westfield. Despite being a repeat customer who has spent a significant amount of money here, I was completely ignored. I was not greeted, not offered assistance, and instead felt blatantly profiled and watched as if I were a problem rather than a customer. I needed help and received none unless I walked up to the register myself. The staff on the floor was rude, unprofessional, and clearly uninterested in doing their jobs. For a store that positions itself as high-end, this level of service is unacceptable and embarrassing. I left feeling disrespected and unwelcome and will most likely never return. There is no reason to shop here when the same brands are readily available at other retailers with far better customer service.

Won’t honor their return policy “Returns within 90 days of purchase may be credited back to the original purchasing card or provided as a gift card. Returns after 90 days of purchase will be refunded as a gift card.” Was told they only accept returns within 90 days even though that’s not what the policy says. Repeatedly emailed with CS to no success. Filling a better business bureau compliant. Honor your policies. Item was in box and swatched. Taking my business elsewhere. Update after owner response: I’ve emailed over 5 times with that email with no help.

For Mother’s Day I decided to take my mom here because she’s obsessed with this store & products and loves smelling things. While we were there ARIANNA was absolutely amazing , so kind, professional polite, sweet five star customer service, talking to her, was like talking to someone that you have known for such a long time… She was in the middle of stocking stopped what she was doing to help us had so much patience, and answered all of our questions let my mom smell 1 million different things asked what she liked so this way she could give recommendations. My mom was stuck between two perfumes. She couldn’t decide, so ARIANNA gave her a sample of the two and put them in a cute little bag. She truly made day and experience special and perfect which is exactly what I wanted. Thank you ARIAN

Unwelcoming experience. I have seen several other reviews saying the same thing. The staff are very unprofessional. They will ignore you. You ask for help and get short rude responses. No friendly smiles or welcome. Definitely not what you expect for a luxury store like Bluemercury. It is very sad to not only get treated like this, but then see other people enter and get treated amazingly. Unless you are white women, you are better off shopping else where. Not sure why this location is like this. I much prefer the Bridgewater store.
