First time there today and everyone working was very inviting and friendly even though I didn’t end up getting anything. Very happy to see some familiar brands they are carrying and also was introduced to some new ones. I like the calmness and quiet of the store compared to going to Ulta or Sephora. I also like how they knew information about the products, offered samples and were very helpful and friendly. Will be back soon!

The women in this store were wonderful: they were friendly, professional and took their time with me to find the best option for my super dry skin. I asked the women about the negative reviews and was informed it was due to previous staff that is now gone. I have been to Blue Mercure stores in Massachusetts and New Jersey and the Newtown staff is just as wonderful. Shopping in this store is like walking into your best friends house. Ignore those old reviews, I am happy I did.

I love this location! The staff is amazing. I think her name is Madison, or Maddie..but she is the best. She has helped me several times and has a great knowledge of the product and is very patient. Any of the staff members really are great at what they do and I have had a pleasant experience each time I have visited. Today I got my first facial here with Gisele (I am so sorry if I misspelled it) but it was AMAZING. You will NOT be disappointed! I have paid top dollar at plenty of facial salons in the city in the past and I have to say this was hands down one of the best I have had in a long time. Thank you so much and I will most certainly be back.

UPDATE!! This store has changed dramatically since I wrote the review below. The management has been completely changed, which is for the better. The women here are so kind and willing to help you color match or find the right product for you. If you have up on this store because of bad experiences in the past, give it another chance. You won’t be disappointed. You can feel the warmth and beauty from the people working at this Blue Mercury! Old review: I’ve given this store several chances and it has a low rating for a reason. I recently visited this store with three other women. We were on our way to a Lady Gaga concert and, as you could imagine, were all interested in purchasing several items for gagafication purposes. Unfortunately not even one of us was able to successfully purchase anything. We did everything short of beg to try the products we were intending to buy. Those of us who were able to sample something were not able to get the attention of the woman working the cashier, who was so deeply ensconced in a conversation about jeans that she didn't notice about ~$250 of lost profits walk out the door. The women working in the store treated us as though we weren't worth their time, which is a confusing customer service strategy for a location that doesn't seem to be getting much business anyway.
