First time visiting Bluemercury. I was in search of a moisturizer, which is always difficult for me due to severe allergies to soy, coconut, and their derivatives. Mel helped me throughout the entire process and was incredibly patient and thorough. She took the time to go through ingredient lists across multiple brands with me and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. Her attention to detail and genuine care made a huge difference. I finally found one that could work for me, and I left feeling excited and supported rather than frustrated. I truly felt welcomed and heard. Thank you, Mel, for such a positive experience. I’m looking forward to coming back.

Came in today to restock on a few items, and the store was practically empty. Not a single associate approached me to offer assistance while I was browsing. I observed staff actively helping only customers of a specific race and age group. When I had selected a few items, an associate approached me not to ask if I needed help, but to ask if she could hold onto my items for me. Later, I also noticed that store promotions and deals were being explained to other customers, while no such information was shared with me. These interactions made me feel uncomfortable and singled out. The overall experience felt unwelcoming and based on assumptions rather than equal customer service. I spent over $300 and received only a very small perfume sample, which was disappointing considering both the pur

Above and beyond customer service! A longtime manager from my former Bluemercury store in New Orleans moved to this location around the same time that I went through a relocation of my own and no longer have a Bluemercury store nearby. Melanie did a great job of proactively reaching out to make me aware of an upcoming promotion and that I could order products directly from her new store. I really appreciate this personal touch. She is also honest with her product and color recommendations (as she has been over the near decade I've shopped with her) and this goes a long way toward establishing trust with the customer and giving the customer a personalized, almost "personal shopper" experience, which is so rare these days. Thank you, Melanie, for reminding me of why I shop Bluemercury first.

Such a wonderful shopping experience! Big thanks to Gabriel at the Bluemercury Highland Park Village store in Dallas for his exceptional customer service. I live in a city that’s about six hours away from the nearest Bluemercury store, and Gabriel went above and beyond to help me get acquainted with a brand I’ve never been able to try in person. He was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also genuinely willing to help — something that made a real difference!! His thoughtful guidance and kindness turned what could have been a confusing online shopping experience into a truly positive one. Bluemercury is lucky to have someone like Gabriel representing the brand so well!

I had a disappointing experience with Bluemercury. I initially made a purchase online, but when I tried the makeup, the shade didn’t match my skin tone. I called the store and was told I could come in to exchange it for a different color. When I arrived, the sales associate quietly processed a return instead of an exchange — without explaining anything. She then told me I’d need to repurchase the item once the refund hit my card or use another card to buy it again on the spot. That is not what I was told over the phone. The lack of clear communication and misleading handling of the situation made the experience frustrating. I expected better service from a store known for selling luxury beauty products.
