I’ve always been a bit wary of MedSpa’s because I sometimes think the aesthetic industry convinces people they need things that they don’t or that a business will try to upsell. As a nurse myself, I didn’t love the idea of mixing healthcare and business. However, I have rosacea and my doctors are not necessarily specialized in anything appearance-related, and I really wanted to refresh my skin because it’s the worst it’s been for years. So, I decided to give this place a try, and got proven wrong about all of my concerns above. I asked for a chemical peel, and rather than happily taking my money, the healthcare staff assessed my skin and were very honest that it would likely be too harsh for me and not meet my goals, with many of the deeper ones even being contraindicated for rosacea.
