Lira at blue door is the absolute best! She does my haircuts and all my blowouts (I see her pretty frequently and have for a couple years since I’m not great at doing my own hair). She is fast and my hair always comes out awesome! Not only is she skilled but she is also super kind and great to talk to. I can always just shoot her a text and she can get me an appointment. Highly recommend!!!

Lira is amazing!! She listened to my concerns and wishlist for my hair. She offered great feedback and went to work to create incredible results! It was so nice that Allie the owner also came to warmly meet me and discussed my hair plan. My blonde is so soft and natural with lots of shine and my hair looks so healthy. Lira is incredibly lovely to talk with and is so swiftly fast, she did it in half the time I had been used to. I could not be happier and I highly recommend Lira!! She did an amazing cut with soft layering and swing and lays so lovely! She is a pro at blowouts too! All the ladies at BD are all so kind and friendly. I’m so very appreciative I have found my place! Thank you and I look forward to my future visits!

I’ve been going to Julianne for 4 years now, and she never disappoints! She always takes the time to listen, makes me feel comfortable, and consistently gives me the perfect color. LIRA!!!! New to Austin and so happy I found Lira. She is the most talented hairstylist I've ever had. I have good hair, but she made it amazing with a more layered cut and deeper, more rich color. I've never gotten more compliments. And the best part, she really cares about her clients having an EXPERIENCE. From the way she washes to styles, it's different, and very luxurious, I cannot recommend her enough!

This is THE PLACE TO GO if you want your hair done right the first time! Blue Door Salon has such a great vibe - warm, cozy and sparking. I felt welcome and relaxed with such kind people around me and melted into my seat. Julianne is my hair girl and not only does she do the most wonderful scalp massage but she’s actually a COLOR GENIUS!! I just watched her take my beautiful mom (see photo) from dark brunette to a beautiful blended gray. I booked out my appointments in advance because I don’t want Julianne all booked up without time for me!
