BLUE & BLACK - Greenpoint

The hype is real! Although the neighborhood has a wide variety of hair salons and barber shops for one to choose from, BLUE & BLACK has a perfect balance of both. The space itself is bright, modern, and has a very relaxing vibe that you feel as soon as you step in. I was lucky enough to get a haircut from Tony who did an excellent job and was great to chat with. Highly recommend folks in the area to book their next haircut here for an elevated barbershop experience!

Blue and Black is incredible - not just as a barbershop - but as an emerging business in Green-point that offers so much to the neighborhood. I have gotten my hair cut by Tony (the owner) and beard trimmed by Larry (legend) - also I keep spending all my money on the products they carry…. insanely cool selection What made me leave the review today was Alicia, who helped me buy product this morning after being yelled at by some crazy walk-in. The customer service, professionalism, and composure on display was chill and classy. This typifies Blue and Black’s brand!!! Amazing place and Brooklyn has some funky people that barbers must deal with regularly…. This place knows how to handle everything!!!

Just went to the new Greenpoint location and it’s a great addition to the neighborhood. Same crew and same great energy as the Carroll Gardens shop, but with a fresh new space. Tony has been cutting my hair for years and his cuts always hit. Super consistent, great attention to detail, and just an easy, comfortable experience every time. They also have a really solid selection of hair products and free Other Half beer, which never hurts. If you were a fan of the old spot, this one absolutely delivers.

Great barber shop. Beautifully appointed. Clean and warm. Super Lovely wood work. Nice music playing. Great selection of high end products. Front desk person was warm and welcoming and offered me a choice of beverages upon my arrival. Nice touch. Followed my barber, Alicia over from another shop. I’ve been going to her for years and am always super pleased with my cuts. I get compliments on my hair frequently. Thanks, Alicia! Highly recommend her and the shop!

The new Blue & Black location is awesome. Very similar vibe to the Carroll Gardens location. I’ve been going to Tony for years and always get a great haircut & beard trim. The new location has a really cool selection of products including niche fragrance. Highly recommend stopping by! Oh and free Other Half beer is always a plus!
