It had been a rough day at the Doctors, looking for some comfort, I started visiting local hair salons to get a boost for my confidence. Most places were too busy to take a walk in that day, except for Suzy at Blown Away Hair Studio. She invited me in, sat me down in her chair looked at my hair, talked with me and made me an appointment for a couple of hours later. She was wonderful, sweet, kind, even humming along to pleasant music while doing my hair. The conversation was wonderful, I had gotten some bad news, and was feeling weepy, she got me some yummy blackberry spring water, and spent the next couple of hours working on my hair and visiting with me. The color I asked for vs. what I got If you have straight hair, this salon is for you! I submitted a half dozen inspiration pictures to my stylist in advance and thought she understood what I wanted. I have partial highlights with my 3C curly hair and I use the first picture at every salon I’ve been to since I started coloring my hair. It has never turned out this way. In the front portion pictured, there is virtually zero dimension and is all blonde. I wasn’t able to tell in the salon due to the lighting and my hair being wet. But upon returning home, this is what I saw in better lighting and with dry hair. The stylist I saw was very nice, knowledgeable, and professional! Suzy is fantastic! I needed a haircut and while I was downtown I noticed her shop I’ve been to Suzy twice and she keeps me looking sharp. I’m happy to recommend her!

Had a wonderful experience getting my hair done here. Super friendly, super understanding of what I wanted done with my hair, cute shop. She made me feel a lot more confident and I am overall happy with my experience here. Would definitely go back
