Blooming Nails

I was a customer at this nail salon for 4 years, but the service has gone downhill. They refuse to book appointments with a specific technician, even though there are only a few experienced staff members and the rest seem to be beginners. It’s not fair to pay the same price for poorly done work. My last visit included a scratched foot during a pedicure and badly applied nail polish. After years of loyalty, I no longer feel valued and won’t be returning. Update: I am 100% sure. I was there July 18, 2025, the day before my anniversary. You were actually very nice, Kathy, but your staff's work was the problem. The shop is beautifully decorated and VERY clean! Staff is equally friendly and welcoming. My husband and I visited Blooming Nails for a mani/pedi, though I ended up getting a full set of nail tips/extensions. The pedicures were fabulous. We enjoyed the entire relaxing service. Their pedicure MASSAGE chairs are the best I’ve ever experienced (be careful with the highest setting; I was sore for a couple days). My full set of nails were built up with poly gel nail builder (a first for me). I believe this product application requires a high skill level to look good and my nails looked flawless! I was so impressed with the work product I received. I highly recommend Blooming Nails for any hand or foot nail services.

Caution - some of the nail techs here are good but some are not. Kathy is decent but last time I had Rosa and she was awful. Very rough when filing and cutting cuticles. Almost every finger was bleeding after and they still hurt days later. Not to mention the nails were all uneven / crooked even after I asked her to fix them (see photo of crooked thumb nail). They are not shaped square as I had asked but were more rounded. I wouldn’t come back here again.

I am very happy today for the first time I went to blooming nails. The service is very good, all the girls are very sweet, the salon was very clean, Kathy, the owner of the place is very professional, she did some beautiful designs on my nails. I decided to try this place out after having a bad experience at the salon I’d been going to for three or four years (I was driving 20 mins to get there - Blooming Nails is a 5 min walk from me). I got a pedi and a gel fill, and they did a fantastic job. They’re a little pricey, compared to what I’m used to, but, in my opinion, it’s well worth it. They really take their time and make sure you’re satisfied with the results (whereas I was used to rushed service and being told that my fingers weren’t this crooked two weeks ago and I must have done something to make them that way). They give great little calf and hand massages. It’s just very evident that the nail techs here take pride in their work, and they should, because I am super stoked to be rocking these cute nails and toes for the nex
