Blk Wax Bar

I'm originally from the DMV but live in PA now. I came all the way back to the DMV to get my facial here because there is no blk own/focused places where im at. Kiara treated me so good!!!! So was gently and comforting. She told me step by step everything that she was during but at some point I was so relaxed I stop listening and fell asleep at least twice. When I come back into town I will definitely be stopping bu to see her again.

If you’re considering this place, I would honestly book ASAP! I forgot to ask for the technicians name :( but she did an amazing job on my Brazilian and underarm service today. Most definitely the smoothest I’ve ever been after a wax— she was attentive, easy to talk to, and great about asking the temperature. It’s very clean, they play good music, and I love the way you don’t feel rushed and on to the next as I’ve experienced with other places. Next time I come by I’ll have to pick up the ingrown oil they used or one of their body butters! 🙃

Hello Hunny Bees!! 🌻🐝 👑 💛💕It's your girl Hunny back with a review of another local small business. I Upon entering I was warmly greeted by a beautiful young lady. She offered me a beverage ($5). The bathroom is clean and smells good. I sat in the waiting room it is beautiful very nice. The music is on point. The place is a vibe. There is plenty of parking it's a little tight but it works. My wax technician is Mia and she was so good!! Professional, pleasant and great conversations. I've been here about 4 times so far and this is now my permanent spot. Check them out and tell them your girl Hunny sent you 💕

I had such a fun time at BWB’s body butter-making class! We went for my friend’s birthday and the whole experience was hands-on, creative, and super relaxing. The owner, Kaela, was amazing—so knowledgeable and made everything easy and fun. The space was welcoming and had such a good vibe, which made the process even better. I loved getting to mix my own custom scent and ending up with a super velvety body butter that felt so luxurious. I left feeling accomplished and excited to use something I made myself. If you’re looking for a unique self-care experience or a fun activity with friends, I highly recommend it!

I have been there now three times and each time was a great experience. I go to Jaimy and I get my full face,eyebrows,Underarms, and full brazilian. She is great each time. I am very specific with my eyebrows and she always listens and executes them. About the shop, it is very clean and nice vibes. Always playing great music even at 9am. They also offer wine for $5 to help you relax while dealing with the pain lol. The young lady at the front desk is alway friendly.
