I requested a soak off/nail removal yesterday. They did not get soaked at all. They quite literally got ripped off. The lady told me since my nails were old, they can just do it. To a certain extent I understood, but it can also be dangerous or damaging especially if all the nails arent so easily "flicked off". She was pretty aggressive with it. Some hurt others didn't. But she ripped off the tip of my pinky nail bed and it was bleeding. The shock covered the pain until she put alcohol on it. Today it actually hurts more. I paid 15 for my nails to get ripped off. Which I could've done at home myself. I shouldve expressed how I shouldn't even have paid for that kind of service. I get it, I came in 30 minutes before closing. But I wasn't planning on a whole new set...just a nail removal. If

Pedicure Quality depends on who you get. I went there before Christmas with Frances and the service was amazing. The massage that’s included in the classic Pedi was wow and she removed my callus! (I hadn’t been at the salon since June) I went again a month and a half later since my postpartum was making my feet dryer than normal and I was needing a pedi sooner (normally I only need 3X/year). The tech I got barely removed callus (she brushed the bottom of my feet for not even 1-2 minutes) and I got no massage- she just quickly scrubbed the sugar on my legs- threw water on my legs than removed most of what was left with a towel. Went for the first time today. I'm not familiar with the "go-to" places since I rarely get my nails done, but my last reliable place started purposely over charging me and I only noticed after certain patterns. I am SO glad I chose to go to Bliss. Gabby did my nails today and she was wonderful. She took JUST a bit more time than I'm used to, but with each step I realized she was just being precise and making sure everything was right. Price was very fair, place was very clean, everyone seemed polite and customers seemed calm and satisfied. Going next time I need nails.. need to try pedi.
