Blessed Barbers Odessa (WALK-INS WELCOME)

We booked a free back to school hair cut with Blessed Barbers. First thing you notice when you walk in is the comforting and welcoming atmosphere. It’s a true barbershop. They are a Christian run barbershop. They play Christian music and have Bible verses displayed. Kevin cut my son’s hair, who by the way is 6 and has ADHD and sensory issues. Kevin did amazing and was very understanding of my son moving around even with the language barrier. Highly recommend!

Wow! Wow! Wow, is the only word I can think of when I walked into this building. I met Leo a couple of months ago before he opened the shop. I had been to several barbers in the area who couldn’t come close to the quality I was looking for.I was so impressed by Leo’s professionalism, friendly demeanor, skills as a barber, but most of all his love for Christ. When you walk in this building, you better be prepared. Not only will you get an awesome haircut, but you will walk into a comforting, soothing atmosphere. You can tell this place was built with love, because the Holy Spirit is so present here. You don’t have to be a Christian to get your haircut here, everyone is welcome.

We know that there is a lot of competition in this business, but the details make the difference, seriousness, professionalism in their barbers, cleanliness great customer service, and even the hygiene in the bathroom caught my attention, where it pushed me to dedicate these notes of excellent quality and service, recommending 100%, do not hesitate, appointments and walk in.

I came in as a walk-in and everything went smoothly. I was able to get my haircut right away, and the haircut itself was great. The only issue was with payment. The total was $50, and I planned to leave a $5 tip, but neither I nor the barber had change. He checked with his coworkers, but no one had change available. Since I had just withdrawn cash from the ATM, I ended up having to give him $60. I did feel uncomfortable in that moment because I only intended to leave a $5 tip, but since there was no change available, I ended up paying more than I planned. It made me feel like I didn’t really have a choice, which wasn’t a great experience. Other than that inconvenience, everything else was good..
