Blades Salon featuring The Barbering Lounge

Sandy at Blades has been doing my hair since I moved to Lancaster 4 years ago and was one of the first vendors I booked for my wedding. We had six bridesmaids, two mothers, the sister of the groom, the flower girl, and myself as the Bride - which is a lot to get done in one morning. Sandy and her second for the day, Avigail were incredible! They were wonderful to work with, took everyone’s photo inspirations into account, and made each person feel special. Even leading up to the wedding each time the count of people changed she was so understanding and accommodating. We did my hair trial a month before the wedding and it looked great! LOVELY. It was my first visit in this salon after seeing one hairdresser for my entire life. My hair is coarse, thick, and typically long, but I decided to go short. Nick was the stylist and he did an amazing job. I was made comfortable from the moment i entered the salon. It was very clean and they had a beverage cooler for customers, which I thought was nice. The owner, I noticed online, is of Asian descent - her employees were trained for cutting Asian hair, very rare for the area!! I was very happy with the outcome and had a nice conversation with Nick. I would 110% recommend Blades to anyone, they’re a full service salon! Thanks Nick!

Going to Blade was the best decision I have made. It had been years since I’ve been in a salon. They are so welcoming and make you feel right at home. Nick took his time to make sure every detail of what I wanted was perfect. From the color touch up, to the waxing to the cut, it was a wonderful experience. I could not recommend this place more! Kudos to Sandy for running such a welcoming salon.
