I am a makeup artist based in NYC and I had the pleasure of visiting Blackshere Beauty. When I say it was an amazing experience, from start to finish! Starr, the owner is the sweetest and she has the most attentive, hospitable team. Very talented and knowledgeable with makeup, skin, and esthetics. I was also able to get some of their makeup brushes, which I recommend 10/10! Super soft but still so durable, and they help create a flawless, perfectly blended application! Highly recommend this salon & team, and the brushes. I will be coming back!!!

I absolutely love Blackshere Beauty. I recently had my first hyper real nano-blading service with the owner Starr! This is my first time ever having permanent makeup done so I wasn't sure what to expect but Starr came highly recommended from someone I trust. She is a master at her craft and takes her to time. Her attention to detail is meticulous AND it didn't hurt at all. That was what I was most afraid of because I'm a wimp when it comes to anything with a needle. The experience at Blackshere Beauty was amazing! I was greeted so warmly by Star and led to Yulia (my technician). The space very cleanly and the decor lovely. We sat before the session and consulted about the look I was going for. Blackshere Beauty has become my one stop beauty space for my lashes & brow touch ups! Starr & her staff are always so welcoming into their peaceful space. When I come, she always suggests something new for me to try. My custom lashes that she created for me is a mix of browns & eggplant colors and she never fails! The entire staff is super talented & you won’t be let down!
