Blackhawk Nails and Spa- Danville

I do not recommend, went in to get a gel full-set acrylic left out with chunky dull nails. I asked for stiletto and these look like talons. The “nail tech” cut my cuticle and ignored the blood, continuing to file it while it bled, very unsanitary, and incompetent. Numerous times through the service I had to point out imperfections that she insisted I ignore. I have to fix them myself now after spending 2 hours for this. Also they allowed a customer to pay using credit card numbers with no card or id

Today l visited this place for the first time because l live in the area. I went to have a fill and it was a horrible experience I had to go to another nail salon that ended up fixing their work so I’m grateful that I found them, but my experience was so horrific that I cannot go into detail. I do not recommend this place.

This is not my usual pace but I had to walk in to get things done quick. The ladies are nice but they do a poor job. They charged me $60 for an acrylic FILL which is absurd. On top of that this is the worst quality I have ever gotten done. The shape of my nails is crooked and uneven. For such a high price I would expect better quality work. I will not be coming back or recommending this place to anyone.

Love everything about this nail salon! They even did a swatch so I could see the nail color combination I was trying to recreate. Kimmy did a perfect job on my gel manicure! I live out of the area otherwise I’d come here all the time!

I had just gotten my nails done 4 days prior to an event and checked with the manager if the regular nail polish would last for 6-7 days and she said yes no problem. Based on her recommendation I opted for a regular vs a gel polish I was very careful not to use my hands a lot to preserve them for my event. Well the polish chipped off and just before my event I had to carve out extra time to get a retouch. They were good enough to get me in and out in time but I was surprised that they charged me the full amount for a re-coat of polish. I felt they should have stood by their work having assured me that this will last and at least extended the courtesy of a free coat and or a reduced price. Of course I felt obliged to tip the operator a second time. In all I spent more than I would have with
