Bishops Cuts/Color

I've been wanting a swatch of vibrant blue on my blonde hair forever, but I've been afraid of the price. Videos I've seen made it sound like it would be about $500 or so. On a whim this morning, I googled salons that do vivids in Issaquah and found Bishops, right by Mudbay, which was one of my errands today. Very friendly staff; as a walk-in, I fully expected to have to make an appointment, but they were able to take me right away. Also got a haircut (very short hair), and this is the best haircut I've had in a very long while. The blue came out beautifully. Nice and bright. Big shout out to Jamie, who made this a wonderful experience. I could tell as she was cutting, that she was taking her time to expertly cut my hair. I dont know how I got this poor a haircut fir a olace with this high rating. I am a male and went in gor the first time for a medium length hair cut. She didn't even use scissors and did the entire cut with trimmers. I knew i was screwed and after a shower I can see how messed up the hair cut is. If you dont know how to ise scissors to blend in the top and the sides, you are not worth paying $55 for a male haircut. I am sorry but I got a great clips level haircut for double the price. All I asked for was a simple comb over style with number 3 machine on the sides. They couldnt do it. Seems like a lot if these good reviews are for female cuts and colors. As a male with fairly dense hair, i wouldn't recommend them unless all you want is a machine fade/low skill cut.

I've been to Bishops a few times and never left unhappy but it's always just been a regular haircut. Nothing to write home about. Until last night, I just had THE BEST experience with Donna. Felt like hanging out with a friend. She absolutely nailed my big hair makeover and got me EXACTLY the cut I wanted. She wasn't pushy and didn't make me feel bad for dying my hair at home but did help provide tips to keep my hair healthy. The conversation was all comfortable and I felt really well taken care of. SUPER appreciate her work and look forward to seeing her specifically for future hair cuts.

Ashley has cut my hair a couple times. I had her add some layers today. I have very fine thin hair. She did an amazing job!! The prices are very reasonable for this area!! Outstanding job!! I just love it!! Highly recommend!!

I had been putting off cutting my hair due to finding a new salon and stylist in the area, so I went on a whim and tried bishops! I scheduled an appointment the night before and was able to get in the next day at 11 am which was great! I had pretty long hair that was dry and brittle and very dead, so I was looking to cut a good amount off. Having super fine and thin hair, I was worried about cuts making my hair look more sparse and I shared that with my stylist Brett who was super helpful. We ended up doing a big chop with long layers and curtain bangs and it came out amazing. Brett is so personable and listened to what I had wanted for my hair. He did such an amazing job and i absolutely love how it turned out! The salon atmosphere itself was super welcoming and everyone seemed so friendl
