Bingham Farms Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Dr. Schmakel has an an excellent bedside manner, thoroughly explaining what to expect. He speaks directly to the patient (my teen sons) which I appreciate; answers questions, and makes sure the patient is feeling comfortable (physically and emotionally). The rest of the staff has all been compassionate and competent as well. All of our procedures have gone smoothly and appointments run on time.

Dr. Schmakel and his team did both my older boys wisdom teeth surgeries. Each time we had a very good experience. My second oldest son had an infection to crop up after the surgery while we were on vacation and Dr. Schmakel was always available and had good connections/rapport w the dentist/oral surgeon out of state that he sent us to- I have 2 younger children and we will be continuing to us them for our wisdom teeth surgeries and any other things that may arise. Fabulous practice. I highly recommend.

This was my second visit To the Bingham Farms oral& Maxillofacial practice (Separated by several years). I will not go anywhere else for extractions. The practice is clean, welcoming, and professional. I had three extractions. I didn’t feel a thing! I went home with detailed instructions as to how to care for my new look. You will be extremely well cared for here. I recommend Dr. Nykiel.

I am a 79 year-old man. I've had a lot of problems with my teeth. My dentist sent me to Dr. Schmakel three times during the last couple of years, to have teeth extracted. Each time, the procedure was easy, quick and painless. There was not any pain or discomfort afterwards, except for a little bit of soreness that went away immediately when I took some Motrin pills. Dr Schmakel is very capable and efficient, and he has a good, positive personality. I'm extremely satisfied with Dr Schmakel and I recommend him very highly. David N. Have had a lot of dental work done. Dr. Nykiel is excellent and love his music! If he could better explain what to expect good and bad after surgery.
