Big Iron Barbershop & Shave Parlor

We moved to Knoxville in 2023 and needed a good barber who would be patient and understanding with our four charismatic sons and Jakob fit the bill! He’s always done a great job on their cuts and actively engages with them which has made them feel very comfortable. Our sons went from hating to get their hair cut to now asking for it regularly and only want to have Jakob touch their hair.

I’ve had multiple great experiences with Jakob at Big Iron Barbershop & Shave Parlor. He really pays attention to detail and takes pride in his work, and the shop has a clean, welcoming atmosphere. The hot towel is definitely a plus and adds a great touch to the overall experience. Highly recommend Jakob if you’re looking for a great barber in the Powell/Karns area.

Wanted to find a good place for my 10 year old to get his haircut. Jakob did great! Very personable and skilled. After we left my 10 year old asked if we could come back again.
