Big Apple Nails & Spa

This is a review for Big Apple nail and spa 2 at 84-27 Jamaica Ave. Queens, NY 11421. I've been going here for years and yesterday was the worst experience of my life. The one lady that did my nails usually only does mani/pedis but because they were busy they had her help with the fill in. A few of my nails are bumpy and one of the nails nail polish is chipping off meanwhile I paid 10 extra for the gel nail polish that isn't supposed to chip. She also cut my skin with the electric nail file. I'm very disappointed at the service I recieved yesterday. Not sure if I will be returning.

I chose this store for my eyelash extensions because, as a Chinese customer, I trusted they would understand and deliver on Chinese aesthetics. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst experience ever. I happened to pass by the store and decided to walk in. The entire process for both eyes took less than 20 minutes, but the result was extremely disappointing. The extensions were the ugliest I’ve ever had—they looked unnatural, made my eyes appear smaller, and were very uncomfortable. My lashes were drooping, the glue was visibly noticeable, and the extensions were obviously crooked. They completely failed to enhance my eyes, which is the basic expectation for eyelash extensions. I got my gel medicure done, the owner worked on my nails great and taking his time on it.

I got a pedicure less than 45 minutes ago. There is nail polish all over my skin, the lady who did my nails missed a lot of spots, and my nails are already chipping. When you go inside and look at the nail polishes, they look so old and crusty. There was an older lady next to me getting a pedicure and it was obvious that she had fungus. The same nail tools that were used on her were tossed back into the container with no sanitization.

They are workers that do a rush job. My nails didn't last the week. No nail care here. I would only return if all the other options are full or closed and I just need my nails done for an event the next day. So most likely not. Update: 5/5 - After I took off the nails, my nails were all very damaged. Will not return at all.
