I had a really bad experience at Big Al’s, and it’s disappointing because the owner is supposed to be the best barber there. This time, he didn’t even let me finish explaining the haircut I wanted. Within the first 10 seconds he started cutting, said my hair was “too long,” and then cut my ear. I couldn’t even see what he was doing, and he ended up cutting my hair way too short and completely messing it up. Honestly, my hair looked better before the haircut. When I told him I didn’t like it, he brushed it off and said it was “all good,” like my opinion didn’t matter at all. On top of that, he still expected a tip after charging $45–$50 for a haircut like that. I also heard him complaining to another barber about a previous customer only tipping $8 and saying it “wasn’t even 20%,” which c

Best around-period. Been a client for 12+ years and now all my sons go here and wouldn’t consider anything else. If you’re in Broomall, Havertown, Drexel Hill, Springfield, Media, Newtown Square, don’t waste time anywhere else. Al, Amir or Ab are all top notch!
