BFD Salon (formerly Salon Red - Arcadia)

Great little salon with very nice staff and owner. Has 4 chairs and 3 stylists. Parking on the side of the building. Minimalist interior, comfortable chairs. Make an appointment as they are popular. Tia is my stylist and does a great job on my very fluffy, curly hair that’s hard to cut and color. She also makes me have my hair blow dried, which is not my thing, but it does indeed look good when she’s done!

I have lived in New York City and Los Angeles and consider Salon Red among the best salons I frequented in those cities. My hair color, cut, or style always looks amazing after an appointment here. I have had MANY compliments and requests for referrals. Currently I reside in Flagstaff, AZ, but happily make the trip to Salon Red whenever I need a hair service. The owner has wonderful taste (love the decor too!) and the entire staff is talented, friendly, and fun. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

A Million STARS!!!!!!!!!!! I just got my hair done for the first time with Gladys at Salon Red ,and WOW one of the best hairstylist ever . She is pleasant, knowledgeable, and has lots of integrity. I went to get color ,deep conditioning , cut ,and style. After my consultation she insisted we don’t need to color my hair .She did such an awesome job with my cut, deep conditioning and style, and even gave me some good advise on home care hair tips with a sample to try. I wanted to buy the product but she asked me to try it first. I found my hair stylist!!! Definitely going back and forever grateful for her good work and honesty on a hair color that I did not need.

After years of bad haircuts I was feeling bad about my looks. I have a full head of curly yet fine hair. Tia was not only super easy to talk to with good energy, but she made me look great. She gave me bangs upon my request and I love them. I am so impressed with Salon Red and Tia that I will recommend her to everyone. My son had his hair done by her today and he can’t stop talking about how nice she was and how he loves his hair. I chose Salon Red because I wanted bangs and called around various salons in Arcadia. All of them said sure, curly bangs would be no problem. Then I called Salon Red and the owner didn’t tell me what I wanted to hear. I have been going to Anthony for years, so long so that I don't have to tell him what to do to my hair every time. He just remembers and it is consistently excellent. I have never had a bad hair cut since he started doing my hair- I trust him. For instance, he suggested I try a different style and I am so confident with his abilities and knowledge that I trust his opinion without worrying about the outcome.
