Beyond Nails of Newtown

I rarely leave negative reviews but for peoples' hard earned money -- this is by far the worst manicure of my life. This is dip. Dip is not supposed to chip. The color chipped after a couple days, my nails are now chipped (when they were growing nicely for months), it's a mess. Also, they got my color wrong on both nails and toes. I gave them a white for my toes and they gave me a red to match my hands. For the manicure I asked for #364 and they gave me #344. I didn't realize this until we were almost done. I 100% will not come back.

They are so incredibly rude. They hover over you like a hawk when you’re trying to pick your color. I think I had Diane and she couldn’t have been more annoyed I wanted to mix two colors for my base coat. She was huffing and puffing about it. Then they get like 3 other staff to hunch over you and watch. It’s so weird. They also do not say hello or recognize that you’re a human sitting there. I went here in a pinch but definitely won’t be back. They also charged me 50$ for a gel polish change. Absolutely outrageous! Not to mention one phone call to the health department and they’d be shut down forever. They use a nail from the nail box to pry off old acrylic/gel when you need a new set. They don’t soak it off. 0/10 stars

Most of the time the ladies are friendly. But the lady I had today did not smile and only would pat the bar or table. At the end she found some words for a compliment of my nail color. Her massages were short and not worth it. My nails did turn out beautiful.

First time visit here today and I went with my friend who goes often. I thought everyone was really kind. The one lady who seems like the owner is so funny and I appreciated her sense of humor. We came in and didn’t have appointments and we did have to wait awhile for pedicures after my friend got a gel manicure. But it wasn’t bad we had fun talking. They felt bad and gave us hand massages and gloves with the lotion in them and that was really kind of them. I got a pedicure and Yuki was my girl. She did a great job. Perfect pressure on the massage. Great job on the pedicure. I really liked her. I would love to go back. It’s not really in my neighborhood but I’m glad it’s there

My adult niece, my sister and I arrived to Beyond Nails for a first time pedicure appointment at this salon. Ruby was ready and welcoming to get started however my sister and niece were coming from NJ - all were gracious with a couple of minutes delay. Sean was absolutely the best taking care of my older, neglected feet and toes. I will return. The salon is clean, bright, and offers many technicians for both pedicures and manicures. I will be returning! Manicure is long overdue 😊
