BeYa Hair Braiding

I make a lot of new purchases based on reviews so wanted to share my experience. Got French curls for my daughter and it came out fine and still is in good condition 3 weeks later and we plan to go back. We were late looking for the hair we needed, didn’t wait to long and they were swift with braiding even though it took a few hours. I have no complaints.

I was pleasantly surprised. Hair braider was on time and patient. Did a great job with my mixed grey Kinky Twist hairstyle. The ladies were extremely friendly the shop was clean and they continued to clean during the braiding process. The atmosphere was musical and light. I enjoyed listening to them talk amongst themselves when they did talk. Not sounding combative like some other shops I’ve been to. I really enjoyed my visit and I will be back to support these wonderful Sisters! Thank you’

Going to this shop was really a last resort. My regular stylist, who can successfully do any braiding style, was on vacation, so this was a last-minute run. Honestly, I should have taken it as a sign, because every time I drove past this place it was always empty. I came here to get cornrows in the front with weave in the back, which I thought was a simple style. The stylist who actually braided my hair was sweet and tried her best, and the braids themselves were fine. The issue was with the weaving wasn’t flat and looked bulky at the top. I left the first day but came back the next day after realizing I couldn’t fix it flattened the top myself. It is just didn’t look laid. Who knew you didn't have to go all the way into NYC to get the braiding styles you were looking for?! Review is about the style, only: I got these boho knotless "Zoe Kravitz-esque" braids for my trip to Brazil, and I loved them! So light and airy. I usually feel so much pain after a hair style, but this?! I honestly barely felt a thing. I came with my hair washed and blow dried, but when some of my hair reverted to its curly state, Chantal was able to stretch the hair out for me. I brought my own human hair 1 pack, and while the pack of hair wasn't great, they made it work. I was also able to purchase hair from the salon, but I really wanted a looser curl for this look. I loved these, my new go-to style & salon!

Sindy is the best. She has been doing my daughter’s hair for over a year. Her hair has been growing and thriving well since. Now she’s working on locs for my son. We are so happy with our service.
