Best hair salon in Astoria !!! I walked in and was welcomed by Elizabeth. She is amazing at hair cuts. She is very knowledgeable on hair and listened to my request on getting long layers, with face framing curtain bangs. It came out so perfect for a reasonable price of $45 since I also had long hair. I have thick hair and she took time to perfect it by feathering it. Will definitely be stopping by again and will be recommending to all family/friends.

I've followed Elizabeth for some 20 years now, through a myriad of different cuts. She listens to what you want and works magic with her scissors. Getting a haircut from Elizabeth feels like a treat to me, she's an artist.

Pls do not come here for layers!! I visited last October for face framing layers and I was left with the choppiest most horrendous haircut of my life. The woman (She had dyed blonde hair/highlights) who was cutting my hair even realized she did something wrong. The other woman( I think she’s the owner, with glasses?) saw what she did and told me sit back down and tried to fix it. She acted like nothing was wrong. As she kept cutting my long hair shorter she kept telling the other stylist to leave and to go home. Both of them couldn’t even look at me in the eye! The blonde stylist literally ran out of the salon, and the other was busy attending another customer. She told the other customer that I got a bad haircut and were laughing about it but didn’t acknowledge it with me. She said that

Elizabeth is a great hairstylist and person . She listens to what you want and does wonderful job. Her prices are unbeatable , very affordable . I been going to her salon over 7 years when I switched from my former salon on 37 street and 30ave the prices there were skyrocketing $$$$ . I am so happy I found Betsy’s salon .
