Bernadette's Third Street Barbershop

For my entire life, I have disliked the majority of my haircuts. So, after years of cheaping out them at a local shop, I went to Bernadette's for the first time hoping for something new! From the start, they were flexible with my scheduling. Also, the hairstylist Syd was so lovely and helped me decide what kind of hairstyle I wanted! She was super communicative and made the whole experience a delight. Bernadette's is the best in town!

We took our 14-month-old son here to get his first haircut. Maddy was so awesome. She made sure we got set up the way we wanted and that we felt comfortable with everything before she started. She was really focused and professional, took her time, and did such a great job. And both she and the other worker there (I feel bad I didn't get his name) were pleasant and super friendly. We'll definitely be taking him back. My husband and I are actually planning on switching to Maddy too now! Highly recommend.

Absolute worst haircut I've ever gotten. Asked for a fade on the sides to a 2 guard she faded it to skin with hardly any fade. Goes from skin to hair with no transition. Took off at least half an inch more than I asked for off the top. I wanted and inch off. Nicked 2 places on the back of my head that I hadnt noticed till I got home and checked it out. Do not recommend, got better haircuts from Christina and Co Education Center and they're students.

Had a great experience here today. I visited Madeline for a haircut and beard trim and left feeling incredible. I showed her a style I wanted and she gave me feedback on certain cues that would enhance the cut for me individually. She crafted a look that I found very satisfying. The shop has the old school Americana vibe but each staff member adds a unique curation to their chair and the music is excellent. Everyone was welcoming as well as attentive during my time here. If you're looking for a new spot or even have a regular barber, check this joint out.
