Ben's Old Town Barber

I brought my 3 year old son for haircut just as they were opening the shop. I was told that it would be about a 30minute wait, which was fine. An older man, who had an appointment came in. It looked like he hadn’t had a haircut in years. His hair looked very dirty. He also seemed very annoyed that I was there with my small child. The hairdresser asked me to “take care of son because they wouldn’t be liable if he was hurt”, which was ridiculous because he wasn’t doing anything to seem he would be hurt. It seemed like an excuse to get rid of us. She said we should go for a “walk” and come back in 30minutes (even though I was told it would take 30minutes, roughly 20minutes prior). Nice neighborhood barber shop, and although their prices have risen a bit, $26 isn't all that bad for a men's cut. And the hot towel (with a little head & neck massage) at the end is a nice touch. 👍

Do not go here, ever. Believe me. I asked for a “trim, cleaning up my neck, and shortening my sideburns. She hear the clippers going and she took off half an inch. Okay, that can grow back, fine. I get home to wash my hair out, one half of my hair is longer than the other, one sideburn is higher than the other, and my neck line is crooked. Please heed my warning, I beg of you. Go anywhere else unless you want to look like a blind person cut your hair. If that’s what you are into, this is the spot for you then.

Told them to make a hard part right where my old one was, literally made a whole NEW second line in my head. Then the Barbour said she would “fix it”. You can’t fix that I have to let it grow back!!! DO NOT GO HERE.
