Beggs Barbershop

I’ve been taking my boys to this place for awhile now. Typically they do a good job, and one person in particular was always so fun and nice with my youngest. Unfortunately, yesterday, was a different story. My oldest is fine, can say what he wants and got his haircut no problem. My youngest, who has terrible anxiety, struggles to explain what he wants… so naturally I step in. The man was rude to me, saying he can’t do what I want and what my son wants at the same time so he’s only going to listen to my son. At this point he’s already getting extremely uncomfortable. My son has extreme confidence issues, hand in hand with anxiety, and was at a point with the length of his hair he actually felt good about. All we wanted was a slight trim to clean it up. Asked for a hard part. They were so far off from what I wanted i left with a shaved head. Not to mention acted as if I didnt know what I wanted and I was wrong. However the one good thing is the guys that cut my sons hair did a fantastic job and was very nice. My son loved it so not all bad

Great old time barbershop atmosphere. Takes me back to the 80s and 90s. I will say, there is big boy banter and language. I personally love it. Let's be honest, kids have heard worse at school.

This place is top notch. Been 4 times now, had 3 different barbers and they all give excellent cuts. The price cant be beat for the speed and overall experience. If you pass on this shop you are missing out!!!

Love this place, I've tried other places but this is the cheapest in Springfield that still gives great haircuts!
