Before/After Beauty

I've been going to Wallis at Before/After for about two years, and she literally is a beauty witch in the best way. I have long, thick, wavy, pain-in-the-ass hair that endures my whims -- all-over color, root treatment, fashion colors, bangs/no bangs, you name it. When I moved to Cincinnati, I'd tried another salon, but I kept feeling like something was off -- like that stylist didn't truly know my hair and what it needed in order to look the best. I found Wallis through a Facebook group and after looking through her Instagram photos and philosophy posts, I decided to book an appointment. Dear reader, that completely changed my hair life because my mane has never looked better since I was a kid before all the processes (Parents, please don't perm your child's hair, thanks). I had Wallis and Margot as my hair and makeup duo for my wedding and they were absolutely amazing. During my trial we figured out what I was wanting and was able to figure out what need tweaked for the wedding and my hair and makeup was STUNNING!!!. They also did hair and makeup for my mother, mother in law and bridesmaids and everyone was obsessed with the work they accomplished.

Wallis is incredible! She does a great job with my hair and is just as wonderful to talk to. I'd also recommend her for wedding makeup and blowouts. She'll be my stylist for life!

Wallis and her hair partner Beezer were absolutely incredible for my April 29th wedding. They were so kind and fun, and made my morning so relaxing. I got so many compliments on my hair and make up after my trial, that I knew I had to book them. I truly felt like they listened to what I wanted and made it happen. My hair and makeup lasted through the night and into the next day! I also love that Wallis gave me the lipstick she used so that I can wear it and still feel like a bride every now and then. The prices were so good compared to most places around Cincinnati. She also traveled to the far West side of town for me and seemed so happy to do it! I cannot recommend her and her team enough!

I got married in May of 2022 and Wallis from Before/After Beaty Bridal and Salon did my makeup, as well as for my entire wedding party. I am not big on makeup normally so I had no idea what to look for in a makeup artist but when I found Wallis I knew she was perfect with her business background (hello Excel spreadsheets!!) and her skill for what I like to call the “elevated natural” makeup looks. Wallis was organized, relaxed and so receptive to feedback. I didn’t love the look that we created for my trial but Wallis was eager for feedback and incorporated everything I asked for to create my dream wedding day look. I would recommend her over and over again!
