I have been coming here for over four years since moving to the Atlanta area. I usually make friendly conversation with the people doing my nails and I always try to be polite. I also admit that I sometimes struggle to speak up for myself, which is why I was especially upset with what was supposed to be a simple self-care day. The image with the lighter hands show what I asked for and also showed the nail tech: a thin French tip with chrome. Instead, I was charged OVER $70 for this abysmal work. During the manicure, I repeatedly referred to the picture and politely asked if the French tip could be made thinner because it did not match the design I showed. For a place that calls itself a "luxury nail bar," these nails are anything but. The chrome is already chipping. The French tips are sl
Hello, I want to express my deep disappointment after my visit to your salon today. The experience was extremely painful and honestly quite shocking. To remove the Gel X or acrylic, the technician literally ripped the extensions off by inserting another tip underneath to lift them. This method tore off parts of my natural nails, caused intense pain, and even made me bleed. I clearly said it was hurting, but she kept going anyway. I find this completely unacceptable. It’s obvious this technique is used to save time, with no regard for the client’s well-being. It’s disrespectful and harmful. This kind of practice severely damages natural nails and should have no place in a professional salon. What makes it even more disappointing is that the nail art itself is actually really well done. Th
Great job on my nails, but 1) the place is dirty and stained. Chairs are dirty and dusty, the carts are dirty, the cabinets are dirty and stained, the pillow is old and dirty. Everywhere you look you see dirt. 2) beware of the questions they ask. I asked for a classic manicure and classic manicure. Then they ask questions do you want this or that? IDK, assuming it is part of the service I asked for. But, no. $15 in up charges. I'm new to salons so is that on me? They didn't tell me about the additional charges. Will try somewhere else next month.
This was my second time going here, and it will also be my last. Last time I went, I got a gel pedicure and it was fine. Today I came in to get an SNS manicure. The employees were all nice and I didn't have to wait. But that's all the positive I can say of this experience. Everything in the salon (tables, lamps, cords, chairs, floors) was grimey. The tech doing my nails was rushing, despite there only being one person waiting. Even if there were a wait, this level of careless was unacceptable. She buffed through my skin to the point of drawing blood, the files appeared to be used and not cleaned, my nails are lumpy and uneven, and there is a TON of product under my nails. She attempted to fix it by using a nail file on my skin, and then using cuticle nippers to try and clip off the skin th
This was an extremely disappointing experience. I’ve been getting my nails done regularly for the past three years, and this was by far my worst experience. The nail tech seemed more concerned with her own nails than with mine and never asked about my preferred length or shape. The quality of the work was poor and felt rushed. On top of that, I was overcharged, with extra fees added without clear explanation. This was extremely disappointing and not worth the price. I would not recommend Beellagio Nail Studio based on my experience.
