Came to visit Savannah from Philadelphia and wow what can I say about Mel, incredible hair stylist! She does all the work by herself so be sure to schedule an appointment with her. Its possible to schedule the same day with her like I did. She is such a great artist and it shows in her work. She handled me with the utmost southern hospitality I have ever had! Very calm, careful, and friendly! Loved my haircut and I will use her when I visit Savannah again 100%! She even gave me a Christmas gift on my way out! Unbelievable she is, really. Would highly recommend

This was my first time going to a barber shop EVER as a woman and Mel did an AMAZING job!! Was very precise with my cut and checked in to make sure everything was to my liking, and the cut came out SO GOOD! I love it! She was so fun to chat with while I got my cut and the pricing can’t be beat. I’m definitely going back!

I came to Savannah, GA for a weekend getaway and was quite weary of going to a barber other than my local favorite back home (Tallahassee, FL), however I decided to go to Beavers because of their great reviews. I was welcomed with kindness and understanding despite being late for my appointment, and I thoroughly enjoyed talking to the owner of the shop about local culture and must see historic locations/eats among many other things. I had an incredibly pleasant experience, and was delighted to see that the owner is not only very kind but also an excellent barber, as I got probably the best haircut I've ever had.
