I am extremely disappointed with the service I received the other night. I stopped by to pick up some items. I had my hair up in a ponytail. The cashier stated that he liked my hair. I returned the compliment. He then stated, “Thank you, but I didn’t get mine from this store” and proceeded to stare at my hair. I was shocked at this statement given the implications. I found it disrespectful that an employee of a store that caters to black customers would say such an inappropriate and derogatory statement. It was also very unnecessary to add. A simple “thank you” would have sufficed. I will never step foot in this store again! I am disappointed by this behavior and urge the owners of this store to carefully train their employees on how to converse with black customers. I’ll take my money els

This is the ONLY beauty supply I shop at. I’ve tried others and their selection is extremely limited. Beauty Icon (no longer Beauty Trends) has everything you can possibly think of. One stop shop. Continue the great work! And the customer service is immaculate. These guys are awesome!
