Beauty Theory Salon Hawaii

I just had a wonderful experience at this salon! The atmosphere was calming and the salon was clean and well maintained. I had an appointment and was seen on time by Lesa for a relaxer touch up. She was skilled and thorough, gladly answering my questions regarding the health of my hair and what it would take to properly maintain it. I was relaxed in more ways than one! Proud to say I’ll be a regular!

Should get 0 stars, but that wasn’t an option. Owner is highly unprofessional. I made an appointment one week in advance and the owner/stylist attempted to change my appointment 30 minutes prior to. Unfortunately, I was already on my way. I arrived there and the owner walked in a few mins later and asked my name. I told her my name and that I’m here for my appointment. She said “I sent u a text”. I told her I texted her back mins later and she never responded to my text. I asked for the reason to change my appointment and she very rudely said “I’m running behind”. She didn’t apologize for the inconvenience or try to be kind. I told her I will have to cancel because the change won’t be work for me. If you have to cancel someone’s appointment at least give them a reasonable heads up.. 30

My daughter was very happy for her silk press on her birthday and what I thought was impossible Lesa made possible. 🗣 Lesa did her thing hands up to her!!! The quality and the care for your hair was just impeccable the way it lasted for 2 months was just true beauty. Definitely the go to place on the island

I never make posts like this, but I feel like I have no choice after what I just went through with Xpeditiously Hair at Beauty Theory Hawaii. I paid over $400 and sat in a salon chair for more than 7 hours, all because I trusted a stylist who assured me she could deliver the natural brown color I asked for after I explained my full hair history. Instead, she left the dye sitting in my hair while she worked on several other clients, and when it was finally rinsed out, my hair was red the exact opposite of what I wanted. While I was sitting there for hours waiting for her to finish with other clients, I also learned just how badly they talk about their clients behind their backs. That alone made me realize I would never feel comfortable going back, even before the hair disaster itself. Wh

Lesa literally SAVED my life before my wedding! I got my hair done on the East Coast before traveling to Hawaii for my wedding and my stylist back home put wayyyyy too much toner in my hair which turned it a purple-y, muddy, dishwatery color. He said it would lighten with a wash before my wedding (it did not) and I was panicking because my hair looked terrible. I found Lesa’s salon online and made an appointment right away. Lesa SAVED my hair and transformed my hair into the color I wanted just in time for my wedding! She did a treatment on my hair that took away the excessive toner to reveal the beautiful blonde color underneath. I cried tears of joy after she was finished and styled my hair. Not only is she talented but she listened to me and was so kind. She is truly a beautiful person.
