It almost feels like as if you’re being watched every time you get something or simply going on your phone feels like everyone is looking at you. I would not recommend going to this place because it is very stressful to shop at because if you come in with any bags they immediately take it out of your hand and make you hold a clip and walk around with it as someone who is not accustomed to this this was very concerning to see how immediately ones looks can cause them to go through a shopping experience that is not deserved.

I actually never had a problem going into that store. They always have things that I need. If you walk in with bags, they have to check them. I'm going to be straight up!!!! If it was my business I will be watching everybody like a hawk too BECAUSE there is a lot of element in the neighborhood that will come in and steal. Howard street has a lot of shit that likes to hang out so I don't get offended if im watched. The only issue I have is following me which I have NOT experienced as a BLACK WOMAN. At other beauty supply shops? Yes but not here so that's my experience. Never been disappointed at this location. 👍🏽

DO NOT SHOP HERE AS A BLACK WOMAN. THEY ARE RACIST and they don’t deserve our business. The short Asian lady followed me around the entire store and tried to block me from the front entrance . When I tried to walk to the register to pay for my items, she attempted to walk with me to cut me off from the door. Never going here again.

This place is absolutely disgusting—dirty floors, dusty shelves, and a stench that hits you at the door. It’s called air freshener & a mop & duster. The rude staff follow you around like you’re about to steal their overpriced junk & not even worth the price. Work on yourselves and clean up better.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. From the moment I walked in, I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. The staff constantly stared at me, watching my every move like I was some kind of criminal. It was beyond creepy and made the entire shopping experience unbearable. As for their products? A complete joke. Their perfumes are cheaply made and shatter easily, their lip gloss smells awful and even has dust particles inside—disgusting! Some of their wigs are dry and brittle, as if they’ve been sitting in storage for years, and their jewelry? Don’t even bother. It’s so fragile it might as well be made of paper. To make matters worse, there’s an obvious bias in how they treat customers. If you’re different in any way, be prepared to be treated with judgment and rudeness. No one should
