It was my first time at Braids By Miriam and I will be returning. The shop was clean and there was a variety of snacks and drinks. Fama , my braider was very nice and she braided with ease.

While my braiders were fast, I repeatedly asked them to loosen their grip and to be gentler and my hair was still braided too tight. My scalp was turning red in some places from the tight grip and is still painful to the touch almost 24 hours later. They were nice people, but it’s not worth the risk of traction alopecia.

I found Mariam on TikTok from a post I loved, and I absolutely fell in love with the braids. I reached out to see if she could do knotless braids with a color blend of 4/30 and she nailed it. Her customer service is exceptional. She was communicative about timing and availability, which I truly appreciated. She completed my knotless braids in under three hours. Fast and incredibly efficient. She is officially my go-to braider. Check her out!

Mariam did an incredible job on my bora bora braids and was QUICK!! I love my results and the hair feels very light. Will definitely be booking with her again!
